About NEET PG 2025 Exam

The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Postgraduate (NEET-PG) is conducted by the National Board of Examinations (NBE) for admission to different programs such as Doctor of Medicine (MD), Master of Surgery (MS), and PG Diploma programs.

NEET PG 2025 Eligibility Criteria

While filling out the application forms, candidates have the option to apply for the 50% AIQ seats. The following NEET PG eligibility requirements will apply to candidates seeking 50% AIQ seats in 2025.

Students are required to fulfill the eligibility criteria given below if they are applying for the NEET PG 2025 exam.

Eligibility Criteria for General Seats

  • No upper age limit is required for candidates applying for NEET PG 2025 exam.
  • Candidates must possess a valid MBBS degree from a Medical Council of India (MCI) recognized institution.
  • Students must complete their rotatory internship before Aug 15, 2025, with a minimum duration of 12 months.
  • Aspirants must have a provisional or permanent medical registration certificate issued by either the Medical Council of India or a State Medical Council.
  • Candidates who have completed their MBBS from Jammu & Kashmir are ineligible for All India 50% Quota seats, except those specifically nominated by the Government of India. Such candidates must submit a duly signed affidavit.
  • Students with foreign MBBS degrees must pass the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE).

Eligibility Criteria for Sponsored Seats

From the 2020 admission session, a certified hospital that satisfies the specified qualifying requirements will be provided with sponsored seats by NBEMS.

  • A minimum of 3 non-sponsored seats in the applicable zone should be part of the department.
  • All non-sponsored seats must be included in the 2025 admission counseling.
  • The department should have completed the authorization process at least 1 year prior.
  • Additional faculty members approved by NBEMS should be available.
  • Candidates must clear the cut-off as defined by the authorities.

NEET PG 2025 Application Form

  1. Visit the official NBE website at nbe.edu.in.
  2. On the homepage, click on “NEET-PG” and then on “New Registration.”
  3. Fill in details: name, DOB, gender, nationality, mobile number, email, captcha.
  4. Generate user ID and password via email/SMS.
  5. Log in and fill out personal, academic, and exam center details.
  6. Upload photo, signature, and thumb impression (Max 80 KB, JPG/JPEG).
  7. Pay registration fee via Net Banking/Card.
  8. Download and save the completed application form in PDF.

NEET Cutoff Marks 2025

The category-wise cut-off scores for NEET PG 2025 has been made public by NBE. The percentile mode is offered for the NEET PG cutoff in 2025.

The NEET PG 2025 percentile has been lowered by 6 points by the Central Government of India after discussion with the Medical Council of India. It is recommended that State Counseling Committees evaluate decisions regarding admission using the revised percentage.
