What is MBBS?
MBBS is an undergraduate degree in the field of medicine, which stands for Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery. The total duration of the MBBS course is five years.

Eligibility Criteria for MBBS
- Age Limit: The minimum age requirement for NEET is 17 years. There is no upper age limit to apply for the MBBS degree programme.
- Educational Qualifications: Applicants must have passed 12th grade with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology from any recognized board in India. (Biology can also be an additional subject).
- Qualifying Marks: Students applying for the NEET 2024 exam must have minimum qualifying marks in Class 12th.
- Unreserved category: Minimum 50% marks in the intermediate test.
- Reserved categories (OBC/ST/SC): Minimum 40% marks in the intermediate test.
- Persons with Disabilities (PwD): Minimum 45% marks in the intermediate test.

Admission Process of MBBS
- Application: Candidates must fill out the NEET 2024 Application Form by visiting the official website of NEEt at exams.nta.ac.in.
