The COMEDK UGET exam, or Consortium of Medical Engineering and Dental, Karnataka, is a national-level common entrance exam for admission in about 190 unaided private engineering colleges in Karnataka under the banner of the Association of Medical, Dental, and Engineering Colleges (AMDEC), which the Karnataka Professional Colleges Foundation Trust runs.

The mode of the COMEDK Exam is Online/Computer Test (CBT) mode, and the duration of the exam is 3 hours, conducted once a year. The COMEDK application fee is INR 1,800, and approximately 118 COMEDK member institutes accept the COMEDK scores.

The COMEDK 2025 is an entrance exam for engineering, and architecture courses in Karnataka. The frequency of exams is once a year and for undergraduate programs conducted by the Consortium of Medical, Engineering, and Dental Colleges of Karnataka.

There are 190 private engineering colleges under COMEDK that accept the COMEDK score, and approximately 66,304 candidates registered for COMEDK 2025. The courses offered by these institutes are BE, B.Tech courses of duration 4 years, and BArch courses of duration 5 years.

COMEDK UGET 2025: Eligibility Criteria

  • Applicants must have passed the Higher Secondary exam or an equivalent exam from a recognized board with English, Mathematics, Chemistry, and Physics as compulsory subjects.
